I've been on NG for about 16 years now, getting on every day from 2005 to about 2015 and periodically popping in from 2016 to now. And honestly, I'm pretty sad, and it didn't really hit me until I logged on today.

I tried playing some of the older games that I was obsessed with over the last 16 years, like Punk o Matic 2, SIMgirl, old Project DCK games, and cartoons, and none of them worked. To be honest, it broke my heart. Sure, I can probably find them somewhere else... But it started HERE. Hours upon hours of playing these games.... now we might not be able to ever play them again. Some, we may never see the loading screen ever again if NG can't change over correctly. The Death of Flash has put NG in danger.

I believe that Tom and the NG crew will do their best in the transition into whatever it is that they'll use now. But a historic piece of the internet died today. An important part of my life and many other's lives died today.

This post might be a bit dramatic, but it's a scary thought. So many hours put into this site must have gotten me a bit sentimental. But I love this site. And I'd hate to see it go.

But let's hope it doesn't come to that.
